[Bonus Interviews] The Terry Project on CiTR #42: Should we tell kids that drugs can be fun?

Mark Haden said that drug educators have told three lies:

1) They have exaggerated the harms of drug use.
2) They have hidden the benefits.
3) They have avoided talking about the harms of prohibition.

In this bonus interview for our latest episode, we tackle #2 and #3. Should drug counsellors actually tell kids that drugs have benefits? Should they criticize drug policy? Mark Haden and Dan Reist thinks so.

But Marvin Krank doesn’t agree. He says that teenagers privilege positive information over negative information, meaning that they might only remember the fun stuff.
