Baba Brinkman has been called a ‘lit-hop’ artist. He tells me that as a nerdy white boy from Canada, he just couldn’t do the gangster rap thing. So he writes rap guides about things like Chaucer and evolution. He just partnered with the Wild Foundation to create ‘The Rap Guide to the Wilderness.’ In this bonus interview for our “End of Civilization Ecovillage” episode, we discuss Tranquility Bank, one of his songs off that album. In it, he speaks specifically about back-to-the-landers. About people like Rudy, Steve and Jan.
